About Us

Dear Visitors,

This blog site is run and edited by Prof. Dr. Kim Murphy, Co-Head of the Department of Journalism and Communications at HMKW Berlin, and Lisa Maria Krause, Digital Journalism MA Student and Student Assistant of the Department of Journalism at HMKW Berlin, together with a team of student editors from the Masters in Public Relations and Digital Marketing (PRDM) and the Masters in Digital Journalism (DJ) at HMKW Berlin.

This blog will primarily showcase the work of PRDM and DJ master students, providing a space for publishing stories on different projects and research completed during their studies, such as: blog posts, articles, features, films, audio productions and more. However, all HMKW students, alumni, professors and lecturers are welcome to submit pieces to us.

The topics that can be submitted can cover anything from students’ personal stories and experiences of life in Berlin, to topics related to new trends in digital journalism, media, public relations and digital marketing.

We hope that this platform will inspire you to write and produce content about topics you’re passionate about and projects you’re proud of!
